I am an Assistant Professor at Hamilton College and Research Fellow with the Department of Economics at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. I received my PhD in Economics from the University of California, Irvine in 2018. I was a postdoc in the Department of Economics at Stellenbosch University from 2018 to 2021 and a Visiting Assistant Professor at Swarthmore College from 2021 to 2023.
My research interests are in applied economics, economic history, and political economy and development.
